I want to have that lens too maybe in time.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture
You should definitely get it! You won't regret it, and its not even that expensive :)
ReplyDeleteWill check out the price
ReplyDeleteDoes this goes with all the Nikkon Camera i was checking and in one place it was written it disent suit some Nikkon cameras.
ReplyDeleteyes some of the older cameras may not support it or you may only be able to focus manually on them. check compatibility before buying.
ReplyDeleteWill do that, in one site it was written it doesnt suit D 5000 and I have that. Will check for sure before i buy other wise it would be a waste.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot!! I luv bokehs but havent tried a shot of it.
ReplyDeletelove all of the colorful pics! I can imagine it probably feels like how Christmas feels here - every place lighted up, everyone rejoicing! Enjoy!
ReplyDelete@Happy Cook:
ReplyDeleteNikkor AF 50mm f1.8 or f1.4 will work on every Nikon camera (in terms on mounting, metering and stuffs), but will have to use manual focus for some camera (D5000 included).
You might want to consider Nikkor AF-S 35mm f1.8G for your D5000. Since it's AF-S, it has motor on the lens, so it will auto-focus with D5000 :-)... It's a bit wider than 50mm, but still an excellent lens :D. Price-wise, just slightly more expensive than AF 50mm f1.8D, and cheaper than AF 50mm f1.4D, I guess.
Yes Anu, CNY is probably more festive around here than Xmas. Most shops close down, etc.
ReplyDeleteGm, thanks for the lovely tips, very useful!
GM thankyou for the info, yeah and tips. Will have to check out the price of the one you mentioned.
