Day 32: Beautiful Bokeh

I am in love with my 50mm Nikkor lens. It creates absolutely gorgeous Bokehs, a true Bokeh master! Chinese New Year decorations in Plaza Singapura.

  4. yes some of the older cameras may not support it or you may only be able to focus manually on them. check compatibility before buying.

  8. @Happy Cook:
Nikkor AF 50mm f1.8 or f1.4 will work on every Nikon camera (in terms on mounting, metering and stuffs), but will have to use manual focus for some camera (D5000 included).

You might want to consider Nikkor AF-S 35mm f1.8G for your D5000. Since it's AF-S, it has motor on the lens, so it will auto-focus with D5000 :-)... It's a bit wider than 50mm, but still an excellent lens :D. Price-wise, just slightly more expensive than AF 50mm f1.8D, and cheaper than AF 50mm f1.4D, I guess.
