Day 33: Chinese New Year Lantern

Red lanterns have come to be an important part of Chinese New Year celebrations. The festivities culminate on the 15th day of the First Moon with the Lantern Festival where families carry red lanterns in the streets and light candles as part of a great parade. This is a bottom up view of a red lantern in my office building.

  4. I am not sure which blog I like better - Edible Garden or this one. I discovered the blog today and went through each of the 33 pictures. What makes the pictures even better ( apart from the camera that you use) are the words that go along with it. Great work.

  5. Thank you so much Radha :) That's very kind of you!
