The Reject

I bought this pestle and mortar over a year back but its still stuck in Kottayam because each time I pack my bags, I have more weight than the airline allows and this is the first thing that gets kicked out. Surely next time...

  1. looks really heavy but a useful gadget this type of thing always happens when we pack bags :)

  2. You rejected it because of airline weight restrictions. I rejected my slightly larger and rounder one, thinking where I'd keep it in a small kitchen (from our own house in Motinagar when we moved to Gachibowli, then to Mumbai, and now to Bangalore!) It is still there (I hope) in my house in Motinagar in a remote corner...:-(~ Shreya

  4. My daughter just broke mine last week. I'm in mourning. Planning to go to the local Mallu store to buy a new one once I am over my fake-annoyance. Lovely click, as usual.

  7. Hi Naga, yes, we've rented our house out! Haven't checked if stuff left at home is still there or not. Tenants have changed this year. Don't think I'd feel like it is my house anymore to live in. No plans of returning to that city any soon either~Shreya
